  • Dealing with a neighbor’s persistently barking dog? Is trash blowing into your yard? Is your neighbor setting off fireworks? Feel free to reach out to us if you need to bounce a situation off of us and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

    Perhaps a mediator is in order. The City of Bend has used Community Solutions of Central Oregon for this purpose before and they might be just what you need.

  • Cascade East Transit has some great information on their website. Notably, they have recently launched an app that you can download that helps plan your trip, or track buses in real time.

Additionally, 2020 General Obligation (GO) Bond projects have their own dashboard with maps and detailed information about each project: GO Bond Dashboard.   • It is a property owners’ responsibility to shovel sidewalks that border the property. Many of our neighbors rely on a clear sidewalk to get to and from work, school or bus stops. To help keep sidewalks safe and passable for your neighbors during winter snow storms, read these guidelines about snow removal from sidewalks.

  • Property owners have a responsibility to prune trees and shrubs that have grown into the right-of-way to accommodate street maintenance, including street preservation and sweeping.

    It is the responsibility of Bend neighbors, per City Code, to:

    Maintain driveway approaches and adjacent to your property in good repair

    Keep sidewalks adjacent to your property clear of vegetation, such as low-hanging branches or overgrown shrubs

    Remove, cut and/or trim flammable vegetation adjacent to your property in the public right of way, and…

    Maintain a clear vision area for intersections adjacent to your property.
